Since our themes are using the similar if not the same framework and coding practices, there are lots of documentations can be applied to most of them.

1. Go to your Addthis Settings > Profiles . If you don’t have an account there, register one for free.

2. At the bottom of the profiles page, there will be all your profiles if you have created earlier. Otherwise click the Add a Profile button and in the popup window, just enter your new profile name. And then you’ll get your Profile ID.

3. Get back to the dashboard https://www.addthis.com/dashboard. On the top right, it’s your profile image. Click it will collapse a dropdown menu, click Switch Profile to select the profile we just created.

4. On the top left, click the Tool Gallery and you’ll get 2 options: Website and WordPress. Choose Website and lick Next then you get all the available sharing tools you can enable for your website.

5. You don’t need to add any code to your theme files since we have already done that for you. Just enter your profile ID/Key in the required filed of  the theme option panel.

In CloneTemplates themes, all ad places are defined in the Appearance > Widgets Panel.

1. Go to Appearance > Widgets

2. Drag a Text widget to the related ad area sidebar and enter your ad codes in the text widget.

Featured posts are displayed as a bigger bold box or slider, normally on homepage. It’s quite easy to set a post as featured.

In the post editing screen, you’ll find a meta box on the right hand where you can set current post as featured or not.

Some of our themes (like vlog) offer a special custom menu for adding your social media icons, and follow below steps to set up that type of social links menu.

The first step is to create a new custom menu, by heading to Appearance → Menus and following the guide. Unless the theme documentation specifies otherwise, you can name your menu anything you like.

Add the address for each social profile to your menu as a custom link. For example, http://facebook.com/clonetemplates is CloneTemplates’s Facebook page link.

After you’ve created your menu and added your social links, scroll down to find the “Menu Settings“. Look for something called “Social Menu” or “Social Links Menu.”. Check it.

Click “Save Menu” when you’re done.
